If not, then did he assume mathematical structures?
(3) What did he mean by mathematical structures?

This quote is from Einstein's article 'Johann Kepler' (1930). The quote is from the end of the article, and Einstein does not use the word 'mathematical' anywhere near the quote. He still refers to mathematical structures at the beginning of the article. Therefore, it appears that mathematical structures were meant. On the other hand, the "elements of visual and muscular type" quote appears to support the view that for Einstein, 'visual' and 'mathematical' were closely related.

* * *

I read about some artist talking about 'inner image' (as the starting point of the creative process). It can be viewed as an opposite to the 'outer image' (realized artifact). Not too scientific a concept; but there's an element of symmetry (a mathematical property) at least.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3726083.post-1161014054153086782006-10-16T11:54:00.000-04:002006-10-16T11:54:00.000-04:00I do not h=know why all my email to you was send b...I do not h=know why all my email to you was send back,maybe there is something wrong with your email address.

Jinxi

Dear Professor,

It is very nice to send you this email. I'm a teacher in the field of evidence law too. I spent one year(2002-2003) at Northewestern University school of law with Professor Allen as a Fulbright Scholar. Now we will publish a Journal of Evidenc Law and Forensic Science. One of this journal's functions is to be the bridge to exchange of scholarship of evidence law. I know you a famouse expert in this field, I hope you could contribute some articles to this journal. That will expand chinese readers view in this field, and provide helpful insights to us.
I hope this email find you well.

Jinxi Wang
Professor of Law and Vice Dean
Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science
China University of Political Sciecne and LawAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
