Evidence-Based Law Librarianship?

There is a phenomenon known as evidence-based medicine (EBM) or evidence-based health care (EBHC). The movement toward EBM -- at least when denominated as such -- seems to be centered in the UK. There is substantial controversy about EBM. Now there is a proposal to explore the possibility of evidence-based (law) librarianship (EBL).
