I should emphasize I do not agree with all of the comments by the lawyer in the video! They do contain grains of truth. They also reveal attitudes I found among some practicing lawyers. (This is not to say that professors as a class are any holier.) But many of the lawyer's complaints strike me as sophomoric. Many of them, I think, reflect the shock of a person who first encounters the dilemmas and problems that the demands of work characteristically present -- whether the worker is a lawyer, doctor, or some other professional. (The lawyer in the video, incidentally, does not consider how much harder life is for people who do hard physical labor or even just for people who do physical labor whether hard or not.)

There are grains of truth in this video. But only grains.
